About the event
The First Baptist Church Council Grove is hosting a chili cook off and dessert auction to benefit Care & Share.
$5 to enter your chili. Categories will be: Traditional, White, Vegetarian, Chili Con Carne, Chili Verde, and Black Bean.
Judging will start at 5 pm with judges from local churches. The only prize is bragging rights and knowing you will help out a great local nonprofit.
At 5:30 pm, chili will be served to the public with all the fixings; and the Dessert auction will commence.
Project Oasis canned tomatoes, sauce, and tomato juice are being offered up for free to use in your recipe upon request!
